Privacy Policy

Account data: your email address, and anything you choose to add to your profile (display name, avatar, bio, and an optional ZIP code, city and state used to show local deals).

Activity data: deals you save, alerts and saved searches you create, deals you submit, comments you post, and basic usage events (page views, deal views, outbound deal clicks) used to rank deals and measure what is working.

Billing data: subscription status, plan, billing period and processor customer and subscription identifiers. Card numbers are handled entirely by our payment processor — they never reach Penny Deals servers.

To operate your account, match new verified deals against your alerts and send notifications, personalize local deals, enforce Premium entitlements, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve deal quality. We send service email (alerts, confirmations, billing notices) based on your notification settings, which you can change at any time in your account settings.

Our hosting, database, authentication and email infrastructure providers, and our payment processor for subscriptions. They process data on our behalf under contract. We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.

Other members can only ever see your display name and avatar next to comments you post. Your email, ZIP code, city, notification settings and billing details are restricted to you and our support staff at the database level.

We keep account data while your account is open. You can edit or clear profile fields yourself, and you can request a copy of your data or full deletion of your account by emailing us. We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Penny Deals is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
